HILO, Hawaii – The Multnomah University women's basketball concluded a three-game road trip through the Hawaiian Islands on Saturday, falling to NCAA Division II opponent University of Hawaii-Hilo 73-54 at the Civic Center.

GAME SUMMARY:

• After winning the first quarter 15-12, MU had a disastrous second quarter, scoring only five points as Hilo took a 30-20 lead into halftime.
• The Lions struggled to make up their deficit, coming within seven points of tying the game but the Vulcans kept ahead, shooting 6-of-12 from three-point in the second half.
• MU shot 37 percent from the field while shooting 60 percent from the free throw line.

 
KEY PERFORMERS:

• Milan Woods led the Lions with 13 points, all coming in the second half, while Sequoia Wheeler added 11 points.
• Paris Sanders and Erykah Campbell each tallied seven rebounds to lead the squad. Paris also added three steals and six points on the night.

The Lions will take a week off before coming back to action, opening Cascade Collegiate Conference play on the road at Northwest University on Friday, Nov. 30.
