LA GRANDE – Coming up against their second ranked opponent in two days, the Multnomah University volleyball fell to Eastern Oregon 3-0 on the road on Saturday.

GAME SUMMARY:

• Eastern used a 9-3 run in the opening set to jump out ahead over MU, winning set one 25-17.
• The Mountaineers earned a .333 hitting percentage on the night while defensively, holding MU to a mark of .055.
• EOU opened the second set scoring the first six points before closing out the third set with the final four points of the night.

 
 
KEY PERFORMERS:

• Miranda Halverson led the Lions with six kills followed by Tayrn Frey and Emma Wall with five kills.
• Marissa Rhodes collected 26 assists and Rachel Leshikar tallied 11 digs on the night.
