COLLEGE PLACE – The Multnomah University volleyball team ended a two-game skid on Sunday afternoon, defeating Walla Walla University 3-1 on the road in their third game in three days.

Final: Walla Walla 1, Multnomah 3 (25-23, 25-16, 12-25, 25-12)
Records: WWU (0-15, 0-14 CCC), MU (5-18, 3-12 CCC)

GAME SUMMARY:
- The opening set went back and forth as both teams played to a 15-15 tie. MU broke away with a 7-1 run to take the first set 25-23.
- MU jumped out to a 6-2 lead in the second set before scoring six straight points to fend off Walla Walla.
- The Wolves avoided the sweep in the third set, scoring the first six points before winning the set 25-12.
- Multnomah sealed the win in the fourth set, jumping out to an 11-2 lead before winning the final set 25-12.
