PORTLAND, Ore. – Multnomah hosted fourth-ranked in Cascade play, College of Idaho Yotes and after a competitive first half, the Yotes pushed passed the Lions, 86-65.
Ben Grandle took charge for the Lions, scoring 16 points to lead all scorers for the night.
Multnomah applied the pressure early taking an initial lead off a
Darius Redrick layup, 2 of his 13 points on the night. The Lions stuck with the Yotes early on, at one point leading by five (19-14) with 13:54 on the clock. A late string from the visiting Yotes set them on top at the half, 40-37.
Ben Grandle knocked in 12 of his 16 points in the first half.
The second half of play favored the Yotes, who shot 44% from the field. Redrick brought the offense for Multnomah in the second half, scoring 9 of his 13 points. The Lions ultimately fell to the visiting Yotes, 86-65.
