Olympia, Wash. – The Multnomah University men's basketball team experienced nearly every high and low of a basketball contest in their matchup with Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) competitor, The Evergreen State College. MU came out of the gate firing on all cylinders and managed to build a 12 point lead in the first half, but the Geoducks created a large surge of their own by putting together a 26 point swing and building up a 16 point lead in the second half. The Lions would then come-back and cut their deficit to as few as 2 points, but were unable to finish the charge and were handed their second CCC loss of the season.

• The Short Story: MU and TESC matched one another nearly category for category on the stat-sheet as both teams finished with 37 rebounds, with MU grabbing a slight advantage in their 3 point shooting as they made 11 compared to TESC's 10. Both teams also shot a large number of free throws, with TESC converting 29-39 and MU managing to make 22-28 from the charity stripe.
How It Happened
• Darius Redrick posted another impressive night, finishing with game highs 35 points and 8 assists and also shot a perfect 15-15 from the free-throw line.
• Ben Grandle added 18 points while converting 5 threes.
• Thomas Simien put together a double-double with 17 points and a team high 12 rebounds.
