LA GRANDE, Ore. – Offense was hard to come by for the Multnomah University men's soccer team, who fell on the road to Eastern Oregon 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Lions registered only three shots in the game compared to the 29 shots from Eastern.
Noe Favila recorded two of the shots for MU with one landing on target.
The Mountaineers took an early advantage in the game as Daniel Silva found the back of the net after a pass from Carlos Peregrina in the 13
th minute.
Multnomah kept Eastern scoreless for the remainder of the first half thanks to the efforts of
Manny Guillermo in goal, who recorded seven of his 11 saves in the half.
In the second half, Jesus Pelayo scored two goals for the Mountaineers, one unassisted attempt in the 50
th minute and again in the 57
th minute after an assist from Elvis Pavon.
Taylor Willman scored the final goal in the game with help from Cristian Aguiano in the 67
th minute, giving Eastern a 4-0 win.
The Lions ended a four game road trip as they head home to host Corban and Northwest Christian next weekend.
