EUGENE, Ore. – The Multnomah University volleyball team escaped with a win over New Hope Christian College in five sets, 25-11, 25-20, 23-25, 23-25 and 15-10, on Tuesday night on the road.
This marked the third win for MU over the Deacons this season, this being the only match that went past three sets.
Marissa Rhodes orchestrated the offense that finished with a .239 hitting percentage as
Hannah Antal led the way with 11 kills while
Maile Kam added 10 kills on 27 swings.
Kiana Miller earned nine digs in the back row while Rhodes added nine digs of her own.
The Lions return to Eugene this Friday to play against Cascade Collegiate Conference opponent Northwest Christian.
