PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University women's basketball team came up against a Cascade Conference powerhouse in ninth-ranked Southern Oregon, losing 102-36 to close out the home stand on Saturday night on Jim Skagen Court.
The nationally ranked Raiders sit in first place in the CCC standings, improving to 20-1, 13-1 in the CCC while the Lions sit at 4-18, 2-12 in conference play as they continue their first year as members.

Lacie Kamper led offensively for the Lions with eight points while senior
Lexie Govert added six points and a team high seven rebounds.
Megan Flikkema was perfect on the night, hitting two shots and a free throw to finish with five points.
"Obviously we had a hard time scoring the ball – but Southern is so strong on both ends of the floor – so hats off to them," said head coach
Tim Bieri. "SOU is an outstanding program and we only get better through playing the best."
For two consecutive nights, the Southern Oregon defensed forced 30 or more turnovers, totaling 32 against Multnomah. The Raiders turned the Lion's mistakes into 41 points off of turnovers while grabbing 18 offensive rebounds for 17 second chance points.
The Raiders had five players score double figures in points with Autumn Durand, Carly Meister, Sydney Mullings and Majerie Reeves all had 12 points on the night.
The Lions will head back on the road as they make the long trek to Eastern Oregon next Friday before playing College of Idaho on Saturday.
