Ashland, Ore. – After roughly a thirty-five minute delay, the Multnomah University men's soccer team ended their road trip with a 6-0 loss to Southern Oregon at Raider Stadium in Ashland, Ore., on Saturday night.
In their first ever contest with SOU, the Lions couldn't get going offensively as they fall to 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
The first year program of SOU earns their second consecutive CCC victory and improve to 7-2, 2-2 CCC after the match.
How it Happened: The Lions were forced to play catchup from the beginning as SOU nailed their first goal of the match in the opening minute after a header off of a cross from the corner found the back of the net. It wouldn't be much longer before the Raiders added the second goal off a header in the third minute of the opening half.

Much the first two goals, the Raiders doubled their lead with two goals coming with minutes of each other in the 21st and 23rd minutes which ended the scoring of the first half. SOU opened up the second half with their fifth goal five minutes into the period before finishing the final goal of the game in the 69th minute.

For the Raiders, Brendan Allen notched two goals and an assist in the match.
Coming Up Next: Multnomah will stay on the road next weekend as they prepare for one of the longest road trips of the season to Billings, Mont., to take on Rocky Mountain college of Friday, Sep. 25 before playing College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, on Sunday.
