KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech held Multnomah University to 28-percent shooting on the way to an 81-47 victory tonight in Cascade Collegiate Conference women's basketball action tonight at Danny Miles Court.
Oregon Tech improved to 11-4 on the season and 5-1 in the conference standings. MU drops to 3-11 overall and 1-5 in CCC play.
The Owls had four players in double figures led by a game-high 15 points from Morgan Roberts. Roberts finished 5-of-6 from the field and grabbed six rebounds tying for game-high honors. Ashleigh Vandenbrink was 4-for-6 from long distance chipping in 14 points to go with four rebounds and three assists. Carly McIsaac netted 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting with Tess Armstrong adding 10 points in the win. McIsaac and Armstrong grabbed five rebounds each.
The Owls hit on 32-of-58 (55.2%) from the floor, including 7-for-20 from the 3-point line. Tech held a commanding 45-29 edge on the boards.
Miranda Schmillen led the Lions with 12 points followed by
Karissa Cox with eight.
Lacie Kamper added seven points and grabbed six rebounds for MU.
The Lions will return home next weekend to play host to Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho.
