KIRKLAND, Wash. – The Multnomah University volleyball team fell on the road Friday night as Northwest University won in three sets 25-8, 25-9, 25-13, to start the final weekend of games for the 2015 season.
The Lions (3-20, 0-19 CCC) will have one final match tomorrow when they travel to The Evergreen State College for the last match of the year.
Freshman
Miranda Halverson was the attacking leader for the Lions, recording six kills while totaling six digs. Junior
Kiana Miller finished with a match high in digs with 16.
For the Eagles, Mattie Jo Johnson and Amanda Waterman each had 12 kills to lead their team. Setter Morgan Pilon finished the night with a high of 34 assists.
Tomorrow's match is set for 5 p.m. in Olympia Wash., as the Lions close out their first year in the NAIA and the Cascade Conference.
