LEWISTON, Idaho – The Multnomah University women's basketball team played their second consecutive game against Lewis-Clark State College on Saturday afternoon, a game that ended in favor of the Warriors 91-34.
This was the second consecutive win over the Lions for the NAIA DI Warriors as they improve to 4-0 on the season while the Lions move to 0-3.
Sadie Jenks was the leading scorer for MU, recording seven points off 3-of-6 shooting while
Lacie Kamper grabbed 11 rebounds against LCSC.
Five Warriors landed in double figures in points, led by Kaylea Knox and Megan Risinger with 19 and 15 points respectively.
"We are able to take a lot of positives from this weekend," said head coach
Tim Bieri, "LCSC is a top notch program and it was an honor to compete with them. I am proud of our girls and how they never gave up."
The Lions will play an exhibition game on the road against Linfield College on Nov. 13, before returning to Jim Skagen Court to face Salish Kootenai College on Nov. 14.
