COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

ALL GUIDELINES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME

Multnomah University and Multnomah Athletics aim to comply with all local and statewide mandates regarding COVID-19. The following information is provided to help fans, alumni, students, and administrators access up-to-date information regarding the policies set in place for the Athletics Department.

FAN PROTOCOL: Beginning on March 19th, 2021, home spectators will be allowed to attend Lion home events in a limited capacity for basketball and volleyball (no fans allowed to attend soccer at this time). Home fans will be signed up to attend on a will-call list provided from each team at least 48 hours in advance. Visiting fans are not currently permitted on campus. Fans will have their own separate entrance and exit, face coverings required at all times, designated seating areas spaced at a minimum of 6ft apart, and will be screened immediately upon arrival. The use of facial coverings is mandated by the State of Oregon and the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

Soccer Guidelines: Fans are not permitted to attend home games at Eastside Timbers Sports Complex. If spectators do choose to come and are inside the facility, they are required to remain in their vehicles. However, there is street parking available outside the facility on the east side where fans can watch outside. Masks are required when out of a vehicle and walking from the parking lot to the restrooms.

Basketball and Volleyball Guidelines: Fans will only be permitted if they have been added to a will-call list 48 hours in advance. Each team (WBB, MBB, VB) will have their own list, and each player will have a designated number of slots they are able to fill for each home event. Spectators will have their own entrance and separate exit which will be clearly marked. Each person will be separated by a minimum of six feet in the bleachers and required to wear a mask at all times. No eating will be permitted inside the gym.

PLAYERS/COACHES/OFFICIALS/GAME STAFF: All personnel must be screened within 24 hours of the start of an event and will adhere to the use of facial coverings.

Sanitization: All bleachers, benches, equipment, doors, and common areas will be sanitized before and after each event. Hand sanitizer, masks, and gloves will be accessible in numerous locations at each home event.

Streaming: All indoor events will have free live stats and video available through our portal which can  be found HERE.

Everyone must abide by the safety measures related to facial coverings and social distancing set in place. Multnomah University reserves the right to ask anyone to leave if he or she fails to adhere to the campus safety measures.
