Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Despite nearly pulling off the comeback after being down 2-0 against Evergreen State College, Multnomah would go on to lose last Friday's game 3-2 in the final set against the Geoducks. The Lions ultimately ended their away trip to Washington 0-2, after losing 3-0 the very next day against Northwest University. Multnomah now moves to 1-10 on the season, with a 1-6 record in conference play.

"I'm disappointed that we weren't able to get a result on Friday, but sometimes that's just how it goes," shared Head Coach Nerisa Laban when asked for her thoughts on last weekend's games. "It's clear that we're getting better as a group, and we're more than capable of competing with other teams in the conference, but we have to control games better. We want to be in a position where we are leading or more dominant early on, rather than having to fight our way back each game."

Sophomore Jade Ilaoa was a bright spot for the Lions in their game against Evergreen State, where she recorded her second double-double of the season with 12 kills and 15 digs. Zoe Schuele also recorded a double-double in the same night, tallying 18 assists and 10 digs. Sydney Priebe topped things off offensively for Multnomah with 14 kills, while Lauren Porter supplied 29 digs.

The Lions are back on the road next weekend as they take on The College of Idaho on Friday, September 27th, and the No. 2-ranked Eastern Oregon Mountaineers on Saturday, September 28th.
