The Lion's hunt for a win is finally over.  With the help of Maya Blake's 15 kills and Lauren Porter's 39 digs, the Multnomah Lions were able to defeat The Evergreen State College in 25-19, 25-15, 17-25, 26-24.

The Lions not only capitalized on the Evergreen errors at the beginning of the first set, but also were able to turn with tide with some kills from both Maya Blake and Jocelyn Porter. Jocelyn had a hitting percentage of .308 in the game today.

In the second set, Multnomah was able to accumulate 9 straight points with kills. Evergreen after taking a timeout, came back out and was able to stop the Lions but could not get the points needed to come back.
 
The Evergreen State College was able to come together and take the third set away from the Lions. The kills from Alice Bennett set the Geoducks up for success to be able to win the needed set from the Lions. The Geoducks also were able to get help from the errors that Multnomah had throughout the set.
 
To start of the fourth set, the Lions knew that they wanted to end the game with this set. The Evergreen State had a great lead to start the set, but the Lions ended up coming together to be able to finish the set in a narrow margin.

The Lions had not only a great hitting night, but Lauren Porter held the back line strong with her 39 digs. Evergreen State Geoducks were not able to get anything past her or the back line as they held strong and made sure that the Lions were able to get a win at home.
