Multnomah Men's Basketball team is coming off two straight losses this week against conference rivals Warner Pacific and Corban. However, the result against the Beacons of Bushnell University was nothing like the rest of the week. The Lions came out on top with a final score of 87-73. 
    Leading the way in the first half was Zach Richardson who put up 17 of his 19 total points in the first half, on 7-9 shooting, to give the Lions an early lead. Bushnell kept Multnomah within arm's reach with the help of dynamic point guard Trevon Richmon. Trevon scored 18 of his 19 total points in the first half, helping the Beacons stay within 7 points at half.    
    The second half was much the same for the Lions with Neyland Block and Tyrese Taylor both going for 10 points to close out the game. A minute into the second half, the Lions went up by 10 points and held at least a double digit lead the rest of the game. The Lions dominated the Beacons with second chance points, outscoring Bushnell 24-8 in this category. 
    The player of the game for the Lions was Neyland Block as he finished with 21 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds, just 2 rebounds shy of a triple double. Tyrese Taylor had 20 points on the night and snagged a total of 7 rebounds as well. 
            Today was all Multnomah as they finished the week off with a win and momentum going into next weeks all important road matches against Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon. Multnomah finds themselves right in the middle of the conference standing which makes every game crucial as they finish up the season. Their first road game of two will be @ Oregon Tech, down in Klamath Falls. This will take place on January 27^th, at 7:30 PM.
