A rare mid-week matchup found the Lady Lions playing their crosstown rivals Warner Pacific Knights at home, in a break between road trips. Both teams came in looking to improve their record in the third week of conference as they look towards Cascade Conference playoffs.

The Lions fell behind early in set 1 but rallied behind the connection between setter Rachel Bailey and opposite hitter Jocelynn Porter. With libero Lauren Porter anchoring the defense, the Lions were able to take command of the first set and win 25-16. There were moments of tension throughout the match, but the Lions managed to sweep the Knights in three sets, totaling 34 kills to the Knights 21. The offensive attack was led by Jocelynn Porter with 10 kills, and Danae Stokes with 9, along with Lauren Porter's 12 digs and Danae Stokes 10. The Lions have back-to-back away games this weekend against the College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon University, where they will again look to improve their record and push to a possible playoff berth.
