The Multnomah Women's Basketball Team returned home to open up CCC play to close out 2022 and their first match was up against Southern Oregon on December 30, 2022, at 5:30pm.

The Game:
        Grad Student, Elise Graham scored 14 points and Alaygza Portis scored 11 points for MU. Multnomah opened fast paced and held control of the lead of the 1^st quarter. Shots were sinking for the Lions as majority of the points were from the paint, but the Raiders took advantage of turnovers and were playing hard on defense. Brianna Phiakhamngon was top scorer and matched with 14 points, 2 steals and 1 rebound. The Lions and Raiders fought back and forth for the lead and energy was high, but the Raiders pulled away with the highest lead of 23 points in the 4^th quarter and won the won 62 to 43.

The Players:
        Elise Graham led as top scorer 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals
Alaygza Portis with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block

The Numbers:
        The Lions scored 9 points off turnovers
They also had 20 points in the paint and had 14 points off the bench
