The Multnomah Lions are back home and entering CCC play to close out 2022, the matchup tonight was Southern Oregon. The Lions were coming off a loss and were returning home ready for a win. Neyland Block was the top scorer for MU with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 steal. Zach Richardson came behind with 17 points, 6 steals and 2 rebounds and Tyrese Taylor scored 12 points, had 6 rebounds, and 1 steal. The Lions used the energy from the home crowd ready to play. Shots were sinking from the paint and the Lions went back and forth with the Raiders, both teams scoring points off turnovers. The Raiders held a short lead in the 1^st half and Atmar Mundu was the top scorer of the game for Southern Oregon with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 steal. Joe Juhala followed behind his teammate with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 1 steal. Multnomah took control of the game going into the second half and held the lead throughout the rest of the game, giving the Lions victory at home 71 to 65. The Lions will stay at home to play against Oregon Tech on December 31st, 2022, at 5:00pm.
