Multnomah Men's Soccer is back at Williford to kickoff at 2:00pm on October 14th against Northwest University. The Lions and Eagles came out strong defensively as they battled back and forth to try and close in on the goals. The Lions opened the game with the first goal within the first 26 minutes by #7

The second period started off at a faster pace and the Eagles came out way more aggressive offensively as #20 Jacen Stein and #32 Elliot Misic try to make more shot attempts on the Lion's goal. #7

Jaime Cantalejo de Dios and the Eagles quickly answered back with a goal putting them on the scoreboard by #16 Max Herrig and assisted by #2 Michael Kozorezov, but the Lions kept the lead 2-1.
The Eagles utilized their corner kicks and #77 Frederick Marten with an assist from #11 Angel Ventura scored a goal to tie up the game 2-2. The Lions started to press as the second period was coming to a close, but the Eagles pulled away as #32 Elliot Misic scored a goal putting the Eagles in the lead and giving them the victory 3-2 at Williford Field.
The Lions rested up and got ready the next day to play against The Evergreen State College on October 15th. The game kicked off at 2pm and started off with high energy as both teams took advantage of every possession. The Lions pressed the Geoducks, and #11

As soon as the second period started the Geoducks stormed down the field to make a shot attempt that ended up being too far to the left. The Lions answered back by racing down the field when they got the possession and ended up getting a penalty shot in the box. #16

Michael Appiah scored a goal giving Multnomah the lead 3-1 and the Geoducks also scored a goal in the final seconds to try to catch up by #10 Jax Buckley assisted by #17 Lucas Alcala making the match 3-2, but the Lions held on and took the victory at home 3-2. The Lions will stay at Williford to play against Rocky Mountain College on October 21st at 2:00pm.
