PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah Lions fell 1-0 in their second conference game to the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers on Saturday, September 18
th.
The Lions created several opportunities and connections up top but was unable to find the back of the net.
Noe Magana was close to putting the Lions on the board in the tenth minute with a header that was just high off the crossbar.
Eastern Oregon got on the board with ten minutes left in the first half, after senior Kellen Burke scored.
It was another stellar game for Lions goalkeeper
Jose David Lopez who mho made an incredible save near the end of the end that ended up taking him out for the remainder of the game.
With no shortage of fouls, the final count came out to 37 and included 5 yellow cards.
