PORTLAND, Ore. – Hosting their conference season debut, the Lions fell to the Yotes of College of Idaho with a final score of 4-0 on Friday, September 17
th.
Coming out strong, the Yotes were quick to score after back-to-back goals from Lizzy Gonzales in the fourth and eleventh minute. At the half, the board remained 2-0 in the College of Idahos favor.
The second half goals were similar to the first half stats wise – with two goals being scored from the same player in a short amount of time. Lily Schlake scored her first off of a penalty kick, then her second a couple minutes later.
The Lions had a tough time connecting, and is battled through with only a few subs available.
