Portland, Oregon- Multnomah won its 3rd straight game at home as the Lions defeated The Evergreen State College, 97-85, Friday night at Lytle Gymnasium. Multnomah improves to 7-5 on the season, 3-1 in conference play. Multnomah's Zach Richardson reached a massive collegiate career milestone as he sunk his 1,500th point, and he didn't stop there.
First Half
Multnomah would start and finish the first half with a large lead, sparked by Tyrese Taylor and Zach Richardson. Multnomah did an excellent job of sharing the ball on offense in the first half, recording 10 assists. Tyrese Taylor would score 20 points in the first half, Zach Richardson tallying 18 points, as the Lions shot 46 percent in the half, taking a 47-39 lead at the break.
Second Half
Multnomah continued to dominate the game, going on their highest point lead by 18 points. Evergreen and Multnomah's bench remain equally effective all throughout the game, with both team's bench scoring 24 points. 63 percent shooting in the second half helped secure the Lions cruise to the 97-85 victory over the Geoducks.

Multnomah will return to conference play tomorrow night, as they host the Northwest University Eagles at 5:30pm at Lytle Gymnasium. This will be the final home game of the 2021 calendar year before they are on the road for five straight games.
