PORTLAND, Ore. – Falling in three sets on Friday night, the Multnomah University Lions lost to the Oregon Tech Owls.
The Owls played a smart and consistent game, jumping out to early leads and keeping their offense steady. They made minimal errors at the net and played scrappy defense.
Despite the pressure placed upon them by Oregon Tech, the Lions continued to have high spirits and played every point like the last never happened.
OIT took the victory 25-14, 25-16, and 25-16.
Leading the team offensively was
Danae Stokes and
Jocelynn Porter, who each scored 8 kills on the night. Stokes also led in the defensive column, this time accompanied by
Alyssa Mehalovich who each had 8 digs.
