OLYMPIA/KIRKLAND, Wash. – After a pair of well fought games in Washington, the Lions came back to Portland with two losses. The team had exciting games as they faced the Geoducks of Evergreen State College on Friday October 15
th, and the Eagles of Northwest University on Saturday October 16
th.
The Geoducks and the Lions were fairly matched in the first half, matching shots and corners all throughout. Going into the break both teams were scoreless. Evergreen scored 20 minutes into the second half, giving them the advantage after the equal fight. Scoring again five minutes later, the Geoducks were then up 2-0. Multnomah scored in the 79
th minute, after a pass to the middle from Ethan Fuller was connected by
Dorian Robinson. Despite out shooting the Geoducks 9-7, the Lions were unable to score and lost with the final score of 2-1.
The next day the Lions faced Northwest, and were the first to score after Daniel Borba was assisted by Gabe Tena. Less then two minutes later, the Eagles tied up the game in the 29
th minute. Northwest notched in two more goals late in the second half to win 3-1.

The team will make their way to Montana next weekend for their last pair of games on the road. The Lions will face University of Providence on October 22
nd at 12pm PST, and Rocky Mountain College on October 23
rd at 10am PST.
