ASHLAND, Ore. - In their final weekend of regular season play, the Multnomah University Lions faced off against the seventh ranked Raiders of SOU on Friday night, but the Raiders ran away with the game 123-75.
The Lions (14-15, 7-12 CCC) shot 34% overall and were led by
Justin Martin who scored 18 points.
Forrest Smith scored 14 points and
Quinn Curry scored 12.
The Raiders (21-6, 15-4 CCC) clinch the number 2 seed in the Conference with the win, and got a big night from Jordan Hunt who scored a career high 24 points. Kerry Cook also had a great night scoring 16 points while Jake Virga added 12 of his own.
The Lions remained tied with Corban going into Saturday's games with playoffs on the line. If Multnomah makes playoffs, it will be their first Cascade Collegiate Conference playoff appearance since joining the conference in 2015.
The Lions face-off against Oregon Tech on Saturday night at 7:30 PM.
