PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University women's basketball team (4-20, 1-16 CCC) faced off against Northwest Christian University (20-5, 14-3 CCC) on Friday night, but it was the Beacons who would take the victory 98-68.

The Beacons used their full-court press to force the Lions into 25 turnovers, 16 of which were in the first two quarters. The Lions trailed 61-29 at halftime.

Erykah Campbell has been leading the Lions in scoring for the season coming into tonight's game averaging 12.5 points per contest, and she continued to lead the Lions with her 15 points tonight. Alaygza Portis added 11 points of her own, 9 of which were in the first half.

The Beacons have been distributing the ball extremely well this season, coming into tonight's game tenth in the nation in assists per game at 17.9, and they continued to pass the rock with precision as they totaled 26 assists tonight.

Morgan Mckinney has been leading the charge for the Beacons this season, averaging 18.5 points per game, and she continued her success against the Lions when she scored 33 points. Aspen Slifka had 15 points, Shanay Dotson had 13 points, and Kaylen Kamelamela had 10.

The Lions will be back in action on Saturday night at 5:30 PM as they take on the Corban Warriors.
