GAME SUMMARY:
In the first set, the Lions and Beacons traded points until the score was tied 4-4 but some Lions errors combined with kills from NCU seniors Katie Allen and Halle Neaumann sparked the Beacons to go on a 18-9 run, and put them in prime position to take the first set 15-25.

The second set started in similar fashion to the first with both teams trading points until the score was tied 4-4, but the Lions made fewer errors and stayed right with NCU for the majority of the set. A Taryn Frey kill from Amanda Holm set the score to 17-19, but the Lions could not get any closer, and NCU took the second set 20-25.

With full momentum, NCU took advantage of their 13-21 lead and held off the Lions to wrap up the night.
