Newberg, Ore. - The Multnomah University women's soccer team was bested by the Bruins of George Fox Friday night, losing 0-6 at the Austin Sports Complex.

It was a slow night for the Lions, who finished with only two shots and only one shot on goal coming from Brooklyn McFadden. On the other hand the Bruins took twenty-two shots on goal connecting on six of them. George Fox kept an even pace for their offense, scoring three goals in the first half and then matching that effort in the second half with three more.

For the Bruins it was Madison Burch, Maggee Hogdon, Chloe Shumaker, Leanna Harris, Claire Wright, and Katlyn Martinez who scored goals.

For the Lions, goalkeeper Trisha Priest was busy in her defensive effort finishing the night with an impressive sixteen saves.
