PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lions overcame a slow start to defeat Northwest Indian College for the second time in two nights 113-91. The Lions (3-1) hit 22 three's on the night while shooting 40% from behind the three point line.

Justin Martin lead all scorers with 36 points and dished out 9 assists, and Forrest Smith added 30 points and 5 rebounds of his own. Zach Richardson hit 4 three's to finish with 16 points. Senior Stepan Zavydovskyy snatched up 10 boards and two blocks.

For NIC, Khalil Chaffin finished with 25 points, Everette Howe finished with 20 points, and Sam Marqueda finished with 21 points.

Head Coach Curt Bickely commented on his teams play, "Forrest was cooking from the three and Justin and Trey were finding open shooters when we finally found our rhythm. It was a hard fought win tonight." 

The Lions take on New Hope on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Jim Skagen Court in Portland, Ore.
