(Portland, OR.) The Multnomah women's volleyball team took the court against New Hope Christian on Saturday, losing 0-3 by the scores of 18-25, 20-25, 21-25. The Lions were paced by
Kamaile Labanon's team high 11 kills, 16 and 11 assists by
Amanda Holm and
Emma Morcom, and 8 digs each by Labanon and
Alyssa Mehalovich.

Avenging the 5 set loss from August 24
th, The visiting Deacons outhit the Lions .286 to .172, and held a 12-5 service ace advantage. Each set saw New Hope establish an early lead, and while the final scores remained close, Multnomah had difficulty taking command of the match. Set 2 saw the Lions at their offensive best, recording 12 kills to 4 errors. While the Deacons had the exact same hitting percentage, it was their consistent serving pressure that made the difference in the match.

Multnomah returns to action on Friday Nov. 1 in Eugene vs Northwest Christian University, and Saturday the 2
nd at Corban University in Salem.
