Portland, Ore. - The Multnomah University women's soccer team battled the Eagles of Northwest University on Saturday night but in the end, it was the Eagles who walked away with the victory 0-5.

GAME SUMMARY:
The ball was moving well for both teams early on Saturday night at the Eastside Timbers Complex, but it was the Eagles who took advantage of early opportunities that eventually lead to a 0-5 victory.
The first goal for the Eagles came by Rylee Rassier in the 23
rd minute from a pass from Callie Wright, but that was the only goal for the Eagles in the first half.
No goals were scored until the 55
th minute when Rylee Rassier scored again for the Eagles, and again in the 58
th minute Callie Wright scored with an assist credited to Hannah Nicholson.
In the 66
th minute it was Senior Hannah Nicholson who assisted Freshman Callie Wright to give the Eagles a 0-4 lead over the Lions, but the duo wasn't done yet as just 1 minute later they connected again to claim a 0-5 lead.
In the 79
th minute Rylee Rassier scored her third goal of the game, and in a dramatic turn of events Mackenzie Monten sunk a high flying shot from the left side of the field right before the final buzzer sounded to cap of the Eagels night 0-7.

Trisha Priest finished the game with 11 saves.
The Lions finished the game with 3 shots, 2 shots on goal, while the Eagles finished the game with 27 shots, 18 of which were on goal.
