PORTLAND – The Multnomah University women's team fought hard in the second half but couldn't overcome the 13
th-ranked Eastern Oregon Mountaineers, losing 77-57 at home on Friday night.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Eastern used a big second half, scoring 50 points, to pull ahead of the Lions with a 50-25 lead at halftime.
- Multnomah opened the second half with a solid effort in the third quarter, outscoring the Mountaineers 19-15.
- MU shot 38 percent from the field while Eastern finished with a shooting percentage of 45 percent.
- Multnomah's defense kept the Mountaineers in check in the fourth quarter, giving up only 12 points to MU's 13, but the Lions couldn't overcome the first half deficit.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Three players finished in double figures in points for the Lions as Sequoia Wheeler, Milan Woods and Erykah Campbell each finished with 12 points.
- Campbell added 11 rebounds to complete the double-double to go along with three assists.
- For Eastern, Maya Ah You Dias was just four assists why of a triple-double, collecting 27 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
