PORTLAND – Despite a quick start, the Multnomah University volleyball team was unable to hang on to a victory, falling to Warner Pacific in five sets 23-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-16, 15-7, on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- After dropping the first three points of the match, the Lions fought back to take a 12-8 advantage before edging out the Knights in the first set.
- The second set went back and forth until Warner Pacific found a 9-3 run to pull ahead to even the match at one set apiece.
- MU hit .114 on the night while the Knights tallied a hitting percentage of .126.
- The Lions had their most dominating set in the third, boasting a hitting percentage of .324 as they jumped out to a 5-0 lead.
- Warner Pacific continued to have an answer for MU, hitting .424 in the fourth to force the deciding set.
- The Knights tallied a 7-1 run to keep the match out of reach of the Lions and complete the comeback.
