OLYMPIA – The Multnomah University women's soccer team played one of their closest games of the season on Saturday but finished on the wrong side of a 2-0 result, falling to Evergreen State College on the road.

GAME SUMMARY:
- The Lions fended off an early attack from the Geoducks, collecting four saves in the first half as the teams battled to a 0-0 tie at the break.
- Evergreen scored their first goal in the 62nd minute, hitting a shot from 30-yards out, landing just inside of the post.
- Jasmine Alejandre and Persia Anderson each recorded an attempt in the in the final 13 minutes, ending in saves for Evergreen.
- The Geoducks sealed the match with their second goal in the 86th minute.
