PORTLAND – The Multnomah University women's basketball team took a break from Cascade Conference play on Saturday, falling to NCAA DIII opponent George Fox 78-51 University on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Multnomah started strong against a tough George Fox squad, ending the first quarter tied 16-16.
- Turnovers were a problem for MU as the Bruins totaled more than half their points (43) off of the Lions' mistakes.
- George Fox pulled away from MU in the second quarter, outscoring the Lions by 10 points to head into the break with a 41-31 lead.
- The Bruins continued to pressure Multnomah in the second half, forcing errors to keep their lead.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Milan Woods finished with a team-high 10 points while adding four steals and three rebounds.
- Bethany George added eight points of her own while Paris Sanders collected nine boards on the day.
