PORTLAND – Oregon Tech broke away from the Lions in the third quarter to defeat the Multnomah University women's basketball team 65-47 on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- The Lions played a solid first half, hanging close with Oregon Tech as the Owls took a five-point lead heading into the halftime break with the score at 26-21.
- Oregon Tech earned a big lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Lions 23-3 to take control for the remainder of the game.
- Multnomah recovered, scoring 23 points in the fourth quarter but it wasn't enough to overcome their third quarter drought.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Alaygza Portis, Sequoia Wheeler and Bethany George each tallied nine points on the night while Portis added five rebounds.
- For Oregon Tech, Megan Morris finished with a game-high 19 points to go along with eight rebounds.
