PORTLAND – The Multnomah University men's basketball completed the Rose City Classic with a perfect 2-0 record after defeating Cal State Maritime 125-114, improving to 3-0 on the season for the first time in the NAIA era.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Multnomah made 20-plus three-pointers for the third consecutive game, shooting 46 percent from behind the arc with 21 makes.
- The Lions broke away in the first half, finding five threes from Justin Martin in the half alone, building a 19-point lead at halftime.
- Down by 25 points, Maritime fought back to cut the lead to only eight points but MU continued to find a shot and keep the lead in their favor.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Martin led the Lions with a career high 44 points, shooting 6-of-12 from three-point range. Behind him was Zach Richardson with 26 points, Brett Blackstock with 21 points and Ben Grandle with 20 points.
- Grandle added 13 rebounds while Briggs Young finished with 10 assists on the night.
