PORTLAND – The Multnomah University women's basketball team picked up a solid win over NAIA opponent San Diego Christian on Monday, winning 65-49 on Jim Skagen Court to improve to 4-2 on the season.

GAME SUMMARY:
- The Lions jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead before ending the first quarter up 13-9.
- MU opened the game up in the second quarter, using a 15-9 run to break away from the Hawks with an 13 point lead after the first half.
- The Lions shot well throughout the night, finishing with a shooting percentage of 42 percent while defensively, holding San Diego Christian to a mark of 24 percent.
