PORTLAND – The Multnomah University volleyball team struggled to get the offense going against Corban University on Friday day, losing in three sets on Jim Skagen Court.
THE BASICS:

Records: CRB (11-8, 7-3 CCC), MU (3-16, 1-10 CCC)

GAME SUMMARY:
- The Lions battled hard in the first set, holding the lead until the Warriors tied the set at 11-11. Tied 22-22, Corban scored on three kills to take an early 1-0 lead.
- Both teams traded points in the second set before the Warriors closed out with a 5-1 run.
- MU was held to a .017 hitting percentage as Corban hit .170 on the night.
- In the final set, the Lions finished with 10 errors while the Warriors used a 10-2 run to pull out ahead late in the set.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Marissa Rhodes finished with a match high 27 assists while Sydney Amundson Miranda Halverson each had eight kills for MU.
- For Corban, Avari Ridgway collected 10 kills and Cierra Leopoldino had 24 assists.
