PORTLAND – The Multnomah University men's basketball team picked up a win in their home opener on Friday, dominating Northwest Indian College 146-72 on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Multnomah raced to a 13-point lead in the first five minutes of the opening half as Justin Martin hit a three to go ahead 19-6.
- The Lions shot 56 percent from the field, including a 48 percent mark from beyond the arc as they headed to halftime with a 71-35 advantage.
- MU outscored Northwest by sixteen points to start the second half before reaching their largest lead of 76 points.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Brett Blackstock finished with a game high 27 points as four MU players reached 20-plus points. Following him was Martin with 26 points, Zach Richardson with 25 and Ben Grandle with 20.
- Blackstock finished with 14 rebounds while Briggs Young tallied 15 assists to go along with 16 points.
