EUGENE – The Multnomah University volleyball picked up a nonconference win on Tuesday, defeating New Hope Christian College in four sets on the road.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Multnomah used a 10-3 run in the middle of the opening set to break away from a scrapping New Hope Christian team, taking a 1-0 lead in sets.
- MU posted a .287 hitting percentage while holding the Deacons to an attacking mark of .196.
- In the second set, the Lions closed out with a 9-3 run to go ahead 2-0.
- The Deacons avoided the sweep in the third set, winning 25-13 before MU finished the match, hitting .375 in the fourth set.
