CALDWELL, Idaho – The Multnomah University men's basketball team came up against a strong College of Idaho team on the road as they fell 91-58 against the Coyotes on Saturday night.
The Lions move to 4-20 oveall, and 1-15 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play on the season while C of I keeps fourth place in the conference standings, improving to 15-11, 10-7 CCC.
Freshman guard
Ben Grandle was the top scorer for the Lions tonight, totaling 20 points while hitting four shots from down town and going 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Following him was
Blake Updike with 16 points while
Jason Wyncoop totaled six points and team high 11 rebounds.
For the Yotes, Joey Nebeker led the night with 22 points while Marck Coffin finished with 17 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists.
Multnomah will return to Cascade Conference action next weekend as they return home for the final time in CCC play, welcoming in Northwest Christian and Corban.
