EUGENE, Ore. – Playing for the third time already this season, the Multnomah University men's basketball team recorded their second win over New Hope Christian College, this time winning on the road 103-79 on Friday night.
Six Lions finished in double figures in points, led by
Ben Grandle who tallied 21 points, shooting 4-of-9 from three-point. Following him was
Ezekiel Martin with 16 points and 13 rebounds, and
Jon Viles with 15 points.
Other key contributors include
Moe Keita who tallied 13 points along with 14 rebounds,
Darius Redrick with 10 points and six assists, and
Trever Cooley who tallied 10 points in 18 minutes of play.
As a team, the Lions shots 49 percent from the field with 10 made three-pointers.
The Lions return to action next week with an exhibition game against Concordia (Ore.) on Tuesday before starting Cascade Collegiate Conference play on Dec. 6.
