SALEM, Ore. – The Multnomah University volleyball team finished up their road matches for the season, taking one set away from Corban University as the Warriors defeated the Lions 3-1 (15-25, 25-10, 13-25, and 17-25) on Saturday night.
Maile Kam led the MU offense with 11 kills while
Miranda Halverson finished with 10 kills. Kam and Halverson also tied for a team high in digs with 16 each.
The Lions opened up the second set with a 7-3 lead before stringing together runs of four points on three separate occasions in the set to avoid the sweep.
Multnomah returns home next weekend for the final two matches of the season as they play Evergreen State College on Friday and Northwest University on senior night.
