PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University men's basketball team fell to the Warriors of Corban University Friday night on the road, losing 99-73.
The Lions drop to 4-13 on the year and 1-8 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference while Corban improves to 11-6 overall and 5-4 in the CCC.

Blake Updike continued his scoring ways against the Warriors, totaling a game high 24 points while shooting 7-of-16 from the field and hitting eight free throws. Freshman
Ben Grandle scored a career high 20 points while nailing five shots from behind the arc.
Corban finished the night with six players in double digits in scoring, led by Cyrus Ward who tallied 20 points. Following him was AJ Monterossi who finished with 18 points and five assists while Taylor Fox hit four threes to end with 14 points.
Down 15-14 in the first half, the Warriors used a 10-0 run to take control on the game for the remainder of the night. The first half ended with Corban gaining a 49-29 advantage heading into the locker room.
The Warriors took their largest lead of the night, 31 points, with just over five minutes reaming before winning 99-73.
The Lions will get back out on the court tomorrow night when they travel to Eugene, Ore., to play Northwest Christian at 7:30 p.m.
